چکیده
در حالی که رمان‌های مارگارت آتوود موضوع بحث‌های انتقادی زیادی های بوده اند، مجموعه داستان کوتاه او چندان مورد توجه منتقدان قرار نگرفته و بیشتر موارد نادیده گرفته شده اند. این مقاله، کوتاه قطبیت ها مردی از مریخ نخستین انتخاب با استفاده تئوری‌های رونالد لینگ سیمون دوبوارنقد میشود خود تقسیم شخصیت‌هایی ناامیدانه جستجوی گرمای انسانی تحقق زندگی دچار هم پاشیدگی روانی میشوند بررسی می شود. نظریات برگرفته فلسفه اگزیستانسیال است توضیح دهد احساس ما خود، متناسب کیفیت تعاملی افراد محیط اطراف داریم شکل گیرد. دوبوار به پیچیدیگی اداره ابهام نهفته هستی نظریه میپردازد. نقد دو منتقد روشن میسازد چگونه ناگزیر تنها دنبال فرار میگردد، وجود را نفی کرده جست جو برای آزادی حقیقی زمانی آغاز میگردد انسان درمییابد مسئول ساختن دنیای اطرافش است، آنگاه قوانین پیش تعیین اطرافیان دیگر نمیتوانند یاری بیایند. پژوهش حاظر تکیه بر پردازان نشان میدهد شخصیت اضطرابی روبرو میبینند آن غلبه کنند، راه انسانیت روی آنها بسته میشود، روان پریشی گرفتار میبینند.
